OUTCOMES (U.S. COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS)

A key aim of the Voyager Tennis Academy is to ensure that it's students have the opportunity to go to University/College in the Unites States with a tennis and/or academic scholarship. Securing a scholarship is an amazing opportunity for life, tennis and the educational experience and it is also financially attractive as it can be worth up to $500,000. A full scholarship can cover all fees such as education, travel, boarding, tennis training, physical conditioning, sports psychology and meals.

For this reason, the Voyager Academy works with Study & Play USA, an Australian based agency that has a 100% track record at placing students into the right Colleges in the United States.

School Holiday Elite Training camps
During specific school holidays, we run full day training camps with a focus on preparing our Voyagers with the tactical, psychological and physical needs for tournament play.

COMBINED TENNIS AND ACADEMIC PROGRAM

Our full time McDonald College program offers our students both an outstanding athletic training program and a high level academic education. Our program enables students to harmoniously combine intensive training, tournaments and the school curriculum. The goal is to enable our students to build a long term plan around sports and education, leading to a professional tennis career or to the enrollment into an United States College sports program. Voyager Tennis Academy has partnered with the McDonald College to enable the worlds of sport and education to be combined. To find out more about the McDonald College program, click here.

In our full time program our approach is about ensuring that our Voyagers are continually improving towards defined, shared objectives. We have a systematic approach of goal setting and bench marking in place. At the end of each term, students are provided with a review meeting to go over their benchmarks taken at the beginning and end of the course to reflect on their progress. The review also covers an analysis of all progress and identifies areas of development across each of the 4 Cals (Techni-cal, Tacti-cal, Psychologi-cal. Physi-cal)

McDONALD COLLEGE PARENT TESTIMONIAL

“We’ve been very happy with the school’s Voyager program right from the beginning. The improvement we saw in Anastasia’s level in the last twelve months since joining the program has been huge, and the tennis results also speak for themselves. Luke Bourgeois, Adam Feeney and other coaches are all highly professional in their approach and training methods. We can fully recommend The McDonald College Voyager Tennis program to anybody who is serious about their tennis.”
